This is the reason that I’ve ventured and developed this F&B Entrepreneurship workshop that incorporates all my knowledge, experiences, passions, and skills into one facilitation. It warms my heart to be able to support and encourage new F&B entrepreneurs on their journey especially for newbies with no F&B experiences whatsoever.
To introduce briefly about the course, the F & B Entrepreneurship module teaches practical F&B business and marketing skills in addition to Culinary and Service Operations Training over 28 hours (5 days workshop). The culinary skills that students will learn and pick up would be such as how to make:
Creme Brulee (How to Make Dessert)
Salmon Garlic Butter (How to Plate Fine Dining Dishes)
Healthy Salad (How to Portion and Assemble)
Food Hygiene and Safety (Fundametals of Food Operations)
Mixology and Coffee (Know-How on Beverage)
And Much More... (Everything you know about Starting F&B Business)
In the Service Operations segment, participants will learn essential skills to operate the business efficiently such as inventory management, food costing, deliveries, and order processing.
Finally the learners will also develop their own business concept, business plan, and also the marketing channels (simple website development and digital marketing activities including product listings in market place or social media).
Flavouring Journey: Ventures into F&B Entrepreneurship module is WSQ certified and Skillsfuture subsidised. The subsidy can go up to 70% including additional funding from UTAP up to $250 for NTUC members.
