Andre Darmono

Andre has over 18 years business and professional experiences in the lifestyle industries ranging from hotel, F&B, agriculture, property to tourism with over S$30 million track records portfolios in the span of his career. Andre graduated with MBA from Queen Margaret University in Hospitality Services and had established more than 4 restaurant chains in Singapore & Indonesia as well as Social Demonstration Farm in Bali. Chef Thomas Lam

Chef Thomas has more than 30 years of experiences in F&B industry and well known for his famous Fish and Chips and also legendary BBQ dishes. Chef Thomas have travelled around the world from UK, Europe, to Singapore owning his own restaurants in Western Cuisine.

 

He is currently heading both the Culinary Training and Condiments Production in Walker Group and not only Chef Thomas is very hands-on, he is also trained in facilitating F&B classes primarily in Corporate Workshops and Short Courses from Cooking and Baking. 

 

Starting in the F&B Industry in his 20s in Perth, Mathew worked in Supermarkets, Nightclubs, bars, cafes and successfully ran his own bar in Perth for 12 years and café for 5 years.

During this time, he conducted numerous training for employees, partnered with Education providers to teach students Hospitality skills and undertook formal training in Marketing Management, Business Planning, Coaching, Training, Sales, Corporate Governance, International Business, Project Management and Retail. 

In the early 2000’s Mathew went back to study and completed an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, and Sustainability, and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Since moving on from Perth Mathew has spend many years overseas exploring new markets and completing a master’s in business administration in supply chain & logistics, since then he has started a new venture in Perth & Singapore in 2020 that represents many unique Australian brands in Asia, provides marketing support, product research and imports, wholesale and retails their products in the Singapore Market.

With a passion for training and lifelong learning, Mathew sees F&B education as the cornerstone of any culinary journey.
