Course Info: (5 Days) - Mastering Western Culinary Workshop
This is a very intensive culinary courses that focuses on covering different aspects of Western Cuisine covering end to end culinary skills development from making sauces and stocks, to making salad, pizza, steaks, and desserts. This course follows set course dinner from Appetizer and Soup, then Mains, and Dessert with a strong emphasis on Mains. A total of 15 hours course covering British, Italian, French, and other Western Cuisines in general. The focuses over 5 days will be as follows:
Day 1 (Basic Sauces Making) – in this course, we concentrate to refine the cooking skills from how to chop, how to handle food safely, and also following Mise En Place preparation steps. The focuses will be making 4 sauces from Cream Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Blackpepper Sauce, and Holande Sauce.
Day 2 (Appetizer and Soup) – in this course, we will be concentrating in making 2 sous and also 2 appetizers from Minestrone to a more difficult soup such as Borch Russian Soup. Then for the appetizer, we will be making Prawn Tostada and also Cheese Meatballs.
Day 3 (Pasta and Pizza) – in this course we will be making 2 pasta and 2 pizza. The pastas will be Aglio Olio and Carbonara while the Pizza will be Pepperoni and Hawaian.
Day 4 (Steaks and Grills) – in this couse we will be making 2 types of meat grill products and also 2 types of seafood grills. We will be making Steak with mushroom sauce, Pork Loin with Cream Sauce, and also Prawn Grill with Chimicurri Sauce and Grilled Salmon with Butter.
Day 5 (Deep Fried and Burgers) – in this course we will be making Fish and Chips and then Crispy Fried Chiken with Spice. Then we also going to make Cheese Burger from scratch.
