Course Info: Healthy Spread Making Workshop

Heatlhy Spread workshop are made with less sugar, highest quality ingredients, and also with many health benefit nutrients. In this workshop, we are exploring spreads that are suitable for breakfast, lunch, and tea break. From peanut butter made using coconut or brown sugar until Hummus made using fresh chickpeas and also Pesto using spinach. We practice using ingredients that are easily available in Singapore and easy to prepare. Each of the spread will also be paired with their proper dishes such as peanut butter with a toasted slice of bread, pesto with penne, and hummus with Naan. What learners will learn in this class will be as follows: 

  1. Learners will learn about benefits of Balanced Diets and insights into minerals, fats, vitamins, and so on. 
  2. Learners will learn on alternative ingredients that can be used to make these selected spreads. 
  3. Learners will learn on how to make Peanut Butter using Brown Sugar 
  4. Learners will learn on how to make Pesto Spread using Baby Spinach 
  5. Learners will learn on how to make Hummus with Fresh Chickpeas
