Coffee is the 2nd largest commodities traded in the world and in addition to that, coffee prices now are sky rocketing due to climate change. Coffee supplies are getting lesser by the years and will be limited in supplies possibly in 20 – 50 years to come. Coffee is a lucrative business no matter how or where do you look at it. 1 out of 3 person will drink coffee and coffee has an integrated supply chain from farm to cup. As you can see below, the quality contributions contributed by roastery are 30% while brewing mastery contributes only 10%.
