Course Info (2 Days): Mastering the Art of Deli and Sandwich Assembly
This is a specialised course focusing on both mastery in sandwich making as well as Assembly while putting the learners into the context of deli operations. Thinking of one day running your own Deli? This is the course for you in which we provide a crash course for learners from food hygiene, food preparations, food safety, and artistic assembly of ready to eat in sadnwhich context. The course is a total of 2 days (6 hours) where 1st day will be focusing on Mastering Deli Operations and making basic sandwiches from Tuna Mayo, Egg Mayo, and Avacado Spread. In the 2nd day, we will learn more about the Art of Sandwich Assemblies by understanding different types of bread from Ciabatta, Sour Dough, Baguatte, and so on.
The focuses will be on:
1. Learners will learn on the kitchen setup and workflow processes within a Deli. Learners will then focus on food safety aspects and also hygiene which is non negotiable.
2. Learners will make a total of 7 different dishes to provide a holistic view of Sandwich making from easy to very hard preparations from Egg Tuna Mayo, Avocado, Steak Sandwich, Eggs Benedict, Cheese Burger, to Artisan Assembly.
3. Learners will also be guided to be intimate with all components of Deli from bread types, toppings, spread, and presentation.
